In Kyiv, 88 new cases of coronavirus infection observed during the past 24 hours as Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko reported on Telegram.

Thus, 47 women at the age of 18 up to 70; 34 men at the age of 20 up to 79; two girls at the age of 11 and 14 and five boys at the age of five up to 17 are infected.

Eight people were hospitalized, while others stay in self-isolation under control of the doctors.

The majority of the infection cases were observed in Darnytsia district – 17. 13 cases registered in Holosiivksy district. 11 cases observed in Svyatoshynsky and Dniprovsky districts.

As for today, there are 10,730 confirmed Covid-19 cases in the capital.

One person died in 24 hours. Totally, 155 Kyiv citizens died. 75 patients recovered during the past 24 hours; while, 3,455 citizens of the capital came over the disease since the beginning of the pandemic.

As of August 18, 1,616 new cases of infection with coronavirus were registered in Ukraine. Since the beginning of the pandemic, 94,436 people got infected, 2,116 of them died. 48,925 patients recovered.
