During the past 24 hours, 854 new Covid-19 cases were observed in Kyiv, as Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko reported on Telegram.

11 patients died. Totally, Covid-19 took lives of 852 Kyiv citizens. In 24 hours, 1162 people recovered; while 16,380 citizens of Kyiv have overcome the disease since the pandemic began.

86 patients were taken to the hospital. The others are on self-isolation under the supervision of doctors.

Most of the new cases were observed in Desnyansky (142), Darnytsky (122) districts and 96 cases - in Dniprovsky.

As we reported earlier, over the last 24 hours, 10,746 cases of coronavirus infection have been reported in Ukraine.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, 450,934 people have been infected with the coronavirus in the country. In total, 8,312 have died (187 in the last 24 hours) and 204,229 (+8,685) have managed to recover. 

Also the Ukrainian Cabinet imposed new epidemic zoning in the country, which is to become active since midnight of November 9. Kyiv remains in the orange zone, while many regional capital cities are in the red zone.

According to the map, Poltava and Zhytomyr regions are completely in the red zone; much of Khmelnytsky and Chernivtsi regions are in the red one, too. Thjis also concerns regional capitals such as Sumy, Mykolaiv, Ivano-Frankivsk and some others.
