8,404 new cases of coronavirus infection were registered in Ukraine in 24 hours as Health Minister Maksym Stepanov reported on Facebook.

Since the beginning of the pandemic: 2,105,428 people got infected; 1,731,162 (+19,453 in 24 hours) patients recovered; 45,830 lethal cases reported (+379 in 24 hours).

During the past 24 hours, the majority of the cases were registered in Kyiv (611), Kharkiv (911), Dnipropetrovsk (622), Donetsk (571) and Zaporizhia (494) regions.

Kyiv – 611 cases; Vinnytsia region – 205; Volyn region – 267; Dnipropetrovsk region – 622 cases; Donetsk region – 571 cases; Zhytomyr region – 228 cases; Zakarpattia region – 124 cases; Zaporizhia region – 494 cases; Ivano-Frankivsk region – 146 cases; Kyiv region – 366 cases; Kyrovohrad region – 67 cases; Luhansk region – 232 cases; Lviv region – 256 cases; Mykolaiv region – 257 cases; Odesa region – 344 cases; Poltava region – 387 cases; Rivne region – 438 cases; Sumy region – 337 cases; Ternopil region – 163 cases; Kharkiv region – 991 cases; Kherson region – 215 cases; Khmelnytsky region – 408 cases; Cherkasy region – 415 cases; Chernivtsi region – 116 cases; Chernihiv region – 144 cases.

As we reported, Ukraine's Healthcare Minister Maksym Stepanov met with Cyrus Poonawalla, the owner of Serum Institute of India. The officials discussed the supplies of vaccines from Covid-19, namely NovaVax and AstraZeneca/CoviShield.
