84 coronavirus cases diagnosed in Ukraine, - Ministry of Health

In Ukraine, as of 10:00 am, on March 24, there are 84 laboratory-confirmed cases of the Covid-19 coronavirus. Thus, over the past 24 hours, 11 new cases have been recorded. This was reported on the Healthcare Ministry's Facebook page.

Three of them are lethal, one patient has successfully recovered and has already been discharged from the hospital.

Currently, coronavirus is detected in:

Dnipropetrovsk region - two cases; Donetsk region - one case; Zhytomyr region - two cases (one fatal); Ivano-Frankivsk region - five cases (one fatal); Kyiv - 29 cases; Kyiv region - 15 cases, 10 of them were detected yesterday; Lviv region - two cases; Ternopil region - two cases, one of them was recorded on March 23; Chernivtsi region - 25 cases (one fatal); Cherkasy region - one case.

The studies were conducted by the Virology Reference Laboratory of the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as well as by regional laboratories.

As we reported earlier, according to Prime Minister Denis Shmygal, there is no urgent need to introduce the state of emergency in Ukraine.

"At the moment there is no need to impose a state of emergency in Ukraine ... the spread of this coronavirus in Ukraine is moderate, unlike other countries," he said.
