On July 21, Ukrainian medics confirmed 829 new cases of Covid-19. The National Security and Defense Council reported that on Wednesday morning.

60,995 people got sick in Ukraine since the pandemic reached the country. 33,172 recovered and 1,534 deceased.

Previously, the local government in Berdyansk, Zaporizhya region decided that the quarantine restrictions would be boosted in this town. The reason is the growing number of the infected citizens.

As we reported earlier, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky stated that the country was ready for the second wave of the coronavirus infection.

"The current situation is that we must be constantly prepared, but we should not exaggerate the reaction. Today there are no critical outbreaks or any 'red spots' related to the spread of coronavirus infection within the country. The quantitative threshold of those who have recovered has exceeded 50%. We are ready for the second wave, but we hope that it will pass us by," he said.
