793 new Covid-19 cases observed in Kyiv in 24 hours

During the past 24 hours, 793 new Covid-19 cases were observed in Kyiv, as Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko reported on his Telegram page.

15 patients died. As for today, Covid-19 took the lives of 2,190 Kyiv citizens.

The number of newly infected includes 447 women (18-88 years old), 317 men (19-87), 8 girls (3-17), and 21 boys (1-17).

52 patients were taken to the hospital. The others are on self-isolation under the supervision of doctors.

Most of the new cases were observed in Darnytsky (182), Dniprovsky (145) and Desnyansky (140) districts.

As we reported earlier, over the last 24 hours, Ukrainian doctors confirmed 5,990 new cases of Covid-19, including 177 children and 236 healthcare workers. 

2,131 people have been taken to hospitals during this period; 116 patients deceased, and 8,777 recovered. 27,975 tests have been taken.

Most of the confirmed cases have been observed in Kyiv city (793), Kyiv (362), Zaporizhzhia (332), Odesa (330), Mykolaiv (328) regions.

1,160,682 people have got sick since the pandemic began in Ukraine, 865,960 recovered.
