7,915 new cases of coronavirus infection were observed in Ukraine during the past 24 hours. Over 17,000 patients recovered as Health Minister Maksym Stepanov reported on Facebook.

In 24 hours, the majority of the cases registered in Kyiv (869), Poltava (651), Donetsk (588), Odesa (580) and Zaporizhia (552) regions.

Besides, 1,650 people were hospitalized during the past 24 hours.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, 2,038 Covid-19 cases were registered in Ukraine; 1,596,829 (+17,391 in 24 hours) recovered; 42,950 patients died from the complications caused by infection.

Earlier, Minister of Healthcare Maksym Stepanov informed about the schedule of deliveries of the Covid-19 vaccine to Ukraine that is planned till the end of the current and for the next month.

Stepanov said that Ukraine has already received confirmation for the supply of another 500,000 doses of the vaccine from Sinovac Biotech. This batch will arrive in the country by April 30, and the remaining 1 million doses - in May. In addition, the COVAX program confirmed the delivery of 1.4 million doses in May. 473,000 of these doses are the Pfizer vaccine.
