During the past 24 hours, 748 new Covid-19 cases were observed in Kyiv, as Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko reported on Telegram.

5 patients died. Totally, Covid-19 took the lives of 872 Kyiv citizens. In 24 hours, 170 people recovered; while 16,667 citizens of Kyiv have overcome the disease since the pandemic began.

70 patients were taken to the hospital. The others are on self-isolation under the supervision of doctors.

Most of the new cases were observed in Desnyansky (130), Darnytsky (109) districts, and 107 cases - in Obolonsky.

As we reported earlier, over the last 24 hours, 8,687 new cases of coronavirus have been detected in Ukraine. 

469,018 cases have been detected since the pandemic reached Ukraine. 209,143 recovered, and 8,565 deceased, succumbing to the consequences of the disease.

Most of the cases are observed in Kharkiv (717), Zaporizhya (683), and Zhytomyr regions (636) and Kyiv (748).

Also, the Ukrainian Cabinet imposes new epidemic zoning in the country, which is to become active since midnight on November 9. Kyiv remains in the orange zone, while many regional capital cities are in the red zone. Minister of the Cabinet Oleg Nemchynov reported that on Friday.
