During the past 24 hours, the record number of polymerase chain reaction tests for coronavirus were held – 7,315 as 112 Ukraine TV channel reported citing Health Minister Maksym Stepanov.

“During the previous 24 hours, the record number of the polymerase chain reaction tests were held, - 7,315,” Stepanov said.

Besides, he noted that the aim of the Health Ministry is to hold as many tests as possible to control and overcome coronavirus infection.

As of April 30, there are 10,406 cases of coronavirus infection in Ukraine. Over the last 24 hours, 540 new cases have been laboratory confirmed. Overall, 261 people have died, 1,238 - have successfully recovered.
