The Minister of Justice of Ukraine Denys Malyuska said that about seventy percent of Ukrainian courts are already honest, but the ‘weak links’ spoil the reputation of the entire judicial system. He told about this on the 112 Ukraine TV channel.
“By and large, 70 percent of the courts are already transparent and honest, but there are weak links that spoil the reputation of the entire judicial system. And these are links that everyone knows. Remove them, establish the procedure, appoint judges - and everything will run smoothly,” the minister said.
As we reported before, Minister of Justice Denys Malyuska said that the introduction of paid cameras in pre-trial detention centers has already yielded results. He told about this on his page on Facebook, while summing up the work of the Ministry of Justice over the past 100 days.
“We launched paid cells in pre-trial detention centers. This is just a small brick in huge prison reform, which I talked about a lot. But it also gives results. We have already received over $4 thousands of additional funds as payment,” Malyuska informed.
