689 new cases of Covid-19 in Kyiv over 24 hours

In 24 hours, 7,959 new coronavirus cases were registered in Ukraine

Kyiv doctors detected 689 new cases of Covid-19 over the day, as Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko reported.

The number of newly infected includes 353 women (18-84 years old), 287 men (18-85), 20 girls (1-16), and 29 boys (1-17). 25 medics are among those who got infected over the last 24 hours.

59 patients were taken to the hospital. The others are on self-isolation under the supervision of doctors.

12 patients died. Totally, Covid-19 took lives of 778 Kyiv citizens. In 24 hours, 50 people recovered; while 12,912 citizens of Kyiv have overcome the disease since the pandemic began.

As of November 1, 7,959 new cases of coronavirus infection have been detected in Ukraine.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, 395,440 people have been infected with the virus: 7,306 of them have died (+110) and 161,441 (+2,513) have recovered. 

The number of people infected with coronavirus in the world exceeded 46 million.

46,095,032 infected with Covid-19 have been recorded in the world, of which 1,196,690 people died of the disease. 33,356,500 patients have already overcome this illness.
