Head of State Agency of Automobile Roads of Ukraine Oleksandr Kubakov said that six thousand kilometers of roads should be upgraded this year. 3,4 billion dollars have been raised for the execution of this task. It was reported on his Facebook page.
"The goal is more than 6,000 km of upgraded roads. Record 3,4 billion dollars of attracted funds. And a new management policy. All this will help make a turning point this year," he wrote.
According to Kubrakov, business and government support, tough and transparent personnel policy, optimization of the procurement process, as well as international partnership and implementation of modern solutions will help fulfill these goals.

“Establishing cooperation with business and international partners is one of Ukravtodor's priorities. Together with experts from leading global companies, we plan to form an investment portfolio of Ukraine's road industry. Our team is working to improve business conditions in the sector for both Ukrainian and international companies, and by attracting additional funding, we will be able to accelerate the process of transformation of Ukrainian roads," Kubakov said.
