During the past 24 hours 598 new cases of coronavirus infection is observed in Kyiv, as Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko reported.

"The situation with the spread of the virus in the capital remains difficult. Another 598 people were diagnosed with the coronavirus over the last 24 hours," the message informs.

The highest number of cases was recorded in Desnyansky district - 162, in Darnytsky - 80 and 65 cases in Pechersky district.

Currently, the general number of confirmed cases in Kyiv makes 30,010.

As we reported, 6,410 new cases of coronavirus have been observed in Ukraine over 24 hours.

Since the pandemic began in Ukraine, 293,641 citizens have been diagnosed with Covid-19. 5,517 of these people deceased (+109 per 24 hours), and 124,113 recovered (+2, 194).
