Over the last 24 hours, 560 new cases of coronavirus infection have been detected in Kyiv. Vitaliy Klitschko, the mayor reported that on October 24.

Among the newly infected are 315 women aged from 18 to 95; 198 men aged from 19 to 83; 21 girls from 6 to 17, and 26 boys aged from one to 17 years old. 23 doctors got infected, too.

47 patients were taken to the hospital; the others stay on isolation, under medical surveillance.

101 cases were recorded in Desnyansky district, Solomyansky - 71 and Obolonsky - 64; all of these are northern and northeastern districts of the city.

Currently, the general number of confirmed cases in Kyiv makes 27,497.

As we reported earlier, today, on October 24, in Ukraine, the general number of Covid-infected people exceeded 337,000. Over the last 24 hours, medics confirmed new 7,014 cases.

The number of lethal cases observed since the beginning of pandemic made 6,289 people (+125 per 24 hours); 139,755 recovered, as repeated lab tests did not reveal the virus in their bodies. The number of active cases of Covid-19 in Ukraine makes 191,366.
