56 new Covid-19 cases observed in Kyiv

During the past 24 hours, July 12, 56 new cases of infection with coronavirus observed in Kyiv; four of them are medics as Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko reported.

“The number of Kyiv citizens diagnosed with coronavirus increased by 56 during the past 24 hours. Four medics are among them. As for today, there are 6,238 confirmed cases of Covid-19 infection in the capital,” Klitschko reported.

Thus, 21 women at the age of 21 up to 75, a 12-year-old girl, 31 men at the age of 19 up to 80, and three boys at the age of four up to 17 are infected.

Nine patients were hospitalized; while others stay in self-isolation under the control of the doctors.

“The majority of the cases observed in Svyatoshynsky district – 13. In Shevchenkivsky district – 11 cases and seven cases in Dniprovsky district,” the mayor said.

During the past 24 hours, 51 people recovered; totally, 2,109 people overcame the virus.

As of early July 13, Ukrainian doctors confirmed 54,133 cases of coronavirus all over the country. Over the last 24 hours, 612 people got infected. 1,398 people deceased from the sickness in Ukraine (+15 per day), and another 26,503 patients recovered (+385 per day).
