In Switzerland, 55 people have died after being vaccinated against Covid-19. The average age of the deceased was 84 years. This was reported by the Swiss national drug regulator (Swissmedic).

"In 55 serious cases, the people concerned died at differing intervals after receiving the vaccine. Their average age was 84 years, and the majority of them had serious pre-existing conditions," the message reads.

It is noted that there is no concrete evidence to suggest that the vaccination was the cause of death. The drug regulatory authorities of other countries and the WHO reached similar conclusions when they evaluated deaths with a temporal link to the Covid-19 vaccines authorised in Switzerland.

Meanwhile, the first batch of Pfizer company's vaccine against Covid-19 is to reach Ukraine on April 14. Healthcare Minister Maksym Stepanov reported that during an evening show at 1+1 TV channel.

"The first 117,000 doses that are supposed to be delivered within COVAX initiative, should be in Ukraine on April 14-15, according to the latest message," he said.

According to Stepanov, first of all, the vaccines will be directed to specialized care homes for elderly people and the social workers who work there.
