53% of Kyivites consider Covid-19 real threat while 40% don't, - survey

71 percent of citizens support closing underground during the lockdown

53 percent of Kyiv citizens consider the spread of Covid-19 a real threat for them and their families. 40 percent oppose that point of view, as shows the surey conducted by Rating sociological group.

65 percent of Kyivites support limitations of visiting public parks. 71 percent do not mind the fact that underground is closed during the lockdown period; 21 percent oppose this decision of Kyiv city state administration.

92 percent of surveyed citizens said they supported wearing protection masks in public places. 

59 percent of those interviewed said they have had their job before the quarantine was imposed; 21 of those continue working as usual even after it began. 22 percent work remotely, 13 percent took time off on their own request. Only three percent of Kyivites lost their jobs.

59 percent consider the actions of Kyiv mayor Vitaliy Klitschko effective; 26 believe otherwise. President Zelensky's actions won sympathies of 47 percent of citizens, another 35 disapprove them. 38 percent approve the steps taken by Healthcare Ministry, while 42 percent don't.

The survey was conducted among Kyivites older than 18; 2,000 people were interviewed.
