507 new Covid-19 cases observed in Ukraine

Over the last 24 hours, Ukrainian doctors confirmed 507 new cases of Covid-19, including 41 children and 33 healthcare workers. Coronavirus_Info Telegram channel reports it.

364 people have been taken to hospitals during this period; 20 patients deceased, and 809 recovered. 40,197 tests have been taken.

Most of the confirmed cases have been observed in Kyiv city (150), Kyiv (47), Kharkiv (40), Odesa (29) and Donetsk (29) regions.

Since the beginning of the pandemic in Ukraine, 2,240,753 people have contracted the disease, 2,176,919 have overcome it, 52,592 have succumbed to it.

Meanwhile, Healthcare Minister Viktor Lyashko is confident that all coronavirus vaccines that are available in Ukraine and have received a WHO recommendation protect well against coronavirus.

"Trust me - the best vaccine is the one your family doctor has. Do not fall for marketing traps that say that some vaccines work better. Any vaccine that is used in Ukraine today and is recognized by WHO protects against severe and moderate coronavirus," Lyashko said.
