Almost 5,000 Russian servicemen to participate in parades in occupied territories of Crimea on May 9. TASS reports this citing Alexey Rulev, the representative of the press service of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation.
“About 5,000 soldiers and about 100 units of military equipment would take part in in the military Victory Day parades on the Crimean peninsula. The parades on May 9 would be held in the hero-cities: Sevastopol, Kerch, and Simferopol,” Rulev said.
The servicemen from the military administration of the Black Sea Fleet, crews of ships from the Crimean Naval base, personnel of the Anti-aircraft warfare of the Black Sea Fleet, soldiers of the army corps, railway battalion, fighter aviation and anti-aircraft missile regiments of the Air Force and of the Anti-aircraft warfare of the Southern military unit, cadets of the Black Sea Higher Naval School named after Nakhimov, ceremonial members of the divisions of the Russian Guard and the Ministry of Emergency Situation, as well as consolidated parade companies of schoolchildren from the Military patriotic social movement Yunarmiya will participated in the parades.
In addition, it is planned to bring about 100 units of military equipment to the streets. T-72B3 tanks, BTR-82A and BTR-80 armored personnel carriers, Bastion missile systems, Monolith and Mineral airborne and surface reconnaissance systems, launchers of the complex S-400 of Anti-aircraft warfare, anti-aircraft missile-cannon complex Pantsir, towed howitzer Msta-B and D-30, combat vehicles of reactive system of volley fire Grad-M, cars KamAZ-63968 Typhoon, and Rys and Tiger armored cars.
