Since the beginning of the year, 50 thousand foreigners, including 42 thousand Russians have passed biometric control at the border of Ukraine. This was stated during the meeting of the board of Internal Affairs Ministry, by the first deputy head of the State Border Service Vasyl Servatyuk, reports the correspondent of 112.ua.
"Since the beginning of the year, 50 thousand foreigners have passed control, including 42 thousand Russians," said Servatyuk.
In addition, he said that since the start of the visa-free regime with the EU, it was used by 400 thousand Ukrainians.
We recall, on January 1, 2018, the system began to fix biometric data for citizens of 71 countries.
