47% of Ukrainians consider Zelensky best politician of 2019, - poll

47% of Ukrainians consider President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky to be the best politician of 2019 in Ukraine. The relevant data was published on the site of the sociological group Reitynh.

Co-leader of Opposition Platform - For Life party Yuriy Boiko, Verkhovna Rada’s Speaker Dmytro Razumkov, and Chairman of Batkivshchyna party Yulia Tymoshenko are considered to be the best politician of the year by 8-10% of respondents; the heads of European Solidarity, Opposition Platform - For Life and Holos party: Petro Poroshenko, Viktor Medvedchuk and Sviatoslav Vakarchuk, respectively, as well as the former Prime Minister Volodymyr Groisman gained 5-7% each.

"Zelensky as the politician of the year received the support of all age and regional distribution groups. But Boiko, Medvedchuk, Rabinovich were more often elected by residents of South and East. Tymoshenko - Center and West, Poroshenko - West," the message reads.

Most supporters of the European Solidarity, Batkivshchyna and Opposition Platform - For Life parties consider the leaders of these forces to be politicians of the year. But among the supporters of the party Holos the result of the president was better than that Vakarchuk’s.

As we reported earlier, Ukrainian authorities continue to lose popularity among Ukrainians. Thus, according to a Kyiv International Institute of Sociology’s (KIIS) poll, the rating of President Volodymyr Zelensky was 73% in September and it was 52% by the end of November. So, over the 2 months, the rating had decreased by 21%, in particular, over the two weeks of November - by 12%. This was stated on the website of Kyiv International Institute of Sociology.
