Five of those 99 who got infected over 24 hours are medics

On June 23, 99 people got infected with coronavirus in Kyiv. Vitaliy Klitschko, the mayor said so during an online press conference broadcasted by 112 Ukraine. 

"Today's news is not optimistic, again. The number of Kyiv residents who appeared to have coronavirus over the last 24 hours, has increased by 99 people. Currently, there are 4,528 confirmed cases of Covid-19 disease in the capital", Klitschko said.

Among those who got sick are 60 women aged from 22 to 70, and three girls from one to 14. Five of those 99 who got infected over 24 hours are medics.

14 patients were taken to hospitals in Kyiv. Others remain on self-isolation, under supervision of doctors.

"25 people recovered over a day. In general, 1,440 Kyiv residents overcame coronavirus", Vitaliy Klitschko noted.

As we reported earlier, on June 24, Ukraine set a new anti-record of the number of infected people. On June 23, 940 people got sick, and thusm, the total number of infected in this country made 39,014.
