450 vans amassed near the border checkpoint between Ukraine and Slovakia. The line's length makes more than 10 kilometers. Alla Datsyuk, the press secretary of the Zakarpattya region customs office said so as quoted by Ukrinform news agency.

"The line emerged on the roadway next to Uzhgorod", she noted.

According to the official, the tense situation is observed for almost a week now; more and more vans are coming every day.

The reason is that Poland ceased providing licenses for movement of vans, so all go to Poland, where these licenses are available and they're cheaper than the Polish ones. Therefore, the situation will remain tense until the new Polish licenses are issued",

The Zakarpattya region customs office claimed it works in the usual mode; on the other hand, the officials recommend that Ukrainian drivers choose other checkpoints when crossing the EU border.
