The National Police of Ukraine fired 405 unvaccinated workers, head of the National Police of Ukraine (NPU) Ihor Klymenko announced at a briefing.
"405 [unvaccinated] workers [were removed from work in NPU] in general in Ukraine. They are unvaccinated and they endanger other workers," Klymenko said.
According to him, the National Police currently has 2,500 people suffering from Covid-19, and almost 95% of the National Police have been vaccinated against coronavirus.
As it was reported, all unvaccinated officials and teachers will be suspended from work from November 8. It does not apply to people who have absolute contraindications for preventive vaccinations against Covid-19 and received a medical opinion on the presence of contraindications for vaccination against Covid-19 issued by a healthcare institution.
In October, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved the procedure for the removal of unvaccinated employees of enterprises, institutions, and organizations subject to mandatory vaccination against coronavirus.
At the same time, sick leave benefits are not provided to employees who have been fired for refusing or evading compulsory preventive vaccination against acute respiratory illness Covid-19.
