402 new cases of Covid-19 reported in Ukraine over 24 hours

On May 12, 402 new cases of infection with Covid-19 took place in Ukraine; now, the overall number Coronavirus-info Telegram channel verified by the Healthcare Ministry reported that on early Wednesday.

As of 9 a.m., May 13, 439 people have deceased (+14 over 24 hours); another 3,716 recovered from the disease (+343 over the day).

Currently, Chernivtsi region reports the largest number of cases in general (2,444); Kyiv, Ternopil and Rivne regions follow. In Kyiv city, the number of infected now makes 1,960.

There is no data from the annexed Crimea and the occupied part of Donbas.

Earlier, a passenger aircraft of SkyUp company departed from Istanbul, carrying 109 Ukrainians aboard. Ukraine's Consulate General reported that on Facebook.

Apart from Ukrainians, there are 18 foreigners aboard; these are the people who enjoy the right to reside in Ukraine. 

Among the evacuated are Ukrainian students, athletes and citizens who were treated from Covid-19 in Turkey.

Three dogs and their owners are aboard the aircraft, too.

On May 12, there was a report that almost 600 Ukrainians were evacuated from Baku, London, Rome and Tel-Aviv; they arrived in Boryspil airport.
