As of September 30, Ukrainian doctors confirmed the total of 208,959 cases of Covid-19. Over the last 24 hours, 4,027 new cases were detected. National Security and Defense Council reported that on September 30.
The total nummber of patients that succumed to the disease since the epidemic reached Ukraine made 4,129 (+64 per 24 hours); 92,360 patients recovered (+2,110).
Most of the cases are observed in Kharkiv, Donetsk and Dnipropetrovsk regions - 549, 345 and 271, respectively. In Kyiv, the number made 219 people over 24 hours.
Earlier, we reported that ex-President Petro Poroshenko got sick with Covid-19. He now stays on self-isolation, being forced to suspend his political force's electoral campaign.
Former MP and current candidate for Kyiv mayor's office Boryslav Bereza got sick with Covid-19, too. He and his family went for a self-lockdown at home, which is in line with recommendations of the World Health Organization and Ukraine's Healthcare Ministry. Bereza posted this on Facebook.
"Troubled breath, cough and crepitation in the upper chest urged my doctor to recommend that I run a repeated PCR test. And it confirmed that I have "corona", reads the message.
