During the past 24 hours, 385 new cases of coronavirus infection have been observed in Kyiv, as Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko reported.

"385 people were diagnosed with the coronavirus over the last 24 hours," the message informs.

The highest number of cases was recorded in Desnyansky district - 88, in Pechersky district - 58 and Dniprovsky - 54.

Currently, the general number of confirmed cases in Kyiv makes 30,848.

As we reported earlier, as of October 19, 303,638 cases of Covid-19 have been observed in Ukraine. 4,766 new cases were observed over the last 24 hours.

5,673 people deceased in Ukraine, since the pandemic reached the country. 126,489 people have recovered, as repeated lab tests did not reveal the virus in their bodies.

171,416 active cases were registered. Most of the cases are confirmed in the Kharkiv region (595), Odesa region (350), and Zhytomyr region (308).
