40 berry picking migrant workers disappeared in the village of Tuupovaara in Finland, the local outlet YLE reported.
The group consisted of 37 Ukrainians and 3 Estonians. After refusal to be hired in the Northern part of Karelia, they were left without accommodation and means of living.
The local inhabitants migrants accommodated the workers in the hunting lodge, which was in a critical condition.
They helped with food and clothes for some time, but the workers disappeared from there at the beginning of August.
