184 women, 161 men and 22 underaged are among the victims.
There are 163 cases of the involvement in the criminal activity, 142 cases of the sexual abuse, 17 cases of the labor exploitation, seven cases of the organ donation, 6 cases of the involvement in the panhandling and 11 cases of the trafficking of children.
The National Police exposed 16 organized criminal groups involved in the human trafficking in 2017.
At the same time, the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine closed 20 channels of the human trafficking, found and stopped the activity of 13 criminal groups, prevented the taking out of 69 potential victims and 82 children in 2017.
As we reported Ukraine in 2017 was withdrawn from a group of countries in which human trafficking flourishes. In 2017, the number of registered criminal cases in the sphere of human trafficking has grown to 346 cases against 115 cases in 2016.
