3,620 new Covid-19 cases observed in Ukraine

Over the last 24 hours, Ukrainian doctors confirmed 3,620 new cases of Covid-19, including 172 children and 60 healthcare workers. Coronavirus_Info Telegram channel reports it.

2,208 people have been taken to hospitals during this period; 133 patients deceased, and 7,921 recovered. 38,911 tests have been taken.

Most of the confirmed cases have been observed in Dnipropetrovsk (530), Kyiv (277), Donetsk (260), Odesa (231), and Kherson (194) regions.

Since the beginning of the pandemic in Ukraine, 2,153,864 people have contracted the disease, 1,857,724 have overcome it, 48,075 - have succumbed to it.

Meanwhile, on May 15, the Cherkasy region entered the "orange" quarantine zone, according to updated data from the Ministry of Health of Ukraine. 

In the Cherkasy region, the detection rate of new cases is 20.8%, while the norm is no more than 20%.

All other regions of Ukraine are currently in the "yellow" zone. Nine regions already meet the "green" zone as a percentage of the epidemic threshold: Kyiv city, Vinnytsia, Zakarpattia, Kyiv, Lviv, Mykolaiv, Poltava, Khmelnytsky, and Chernihiv regions.
