"As of 07:00 on June 30, 35 settlements in 2 regions were cut off due to difficult weather conditions (rain, gusts of wind), due to the operation of the power line protection system, namely: Transcarpathian - 31 and Volyn - four. The regional power brigades are involved in the restoration of electricity supply," the statement reads.
Meanwhile, work is underway to eliminate the effects of rain floods in the western regions (Ivano-Frankivsk, Chernivtsi, Lviv, and Ternopil). 147 houses were flooded in 19 settlements.
As we reported earlier, Israel has handed over a batch of humanitarian aid for flood-affected citizens to Ukraine.
In particular, 25,000 1.5-liter bottles of drinking water were sent to the victims of the floods in the Ivano-Frankivsk and Chernivtsi regions. Israel will also provide additional delivery of tents and sleeping bags to the affected regions.
