This list includes Comoros, Lesotho, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and tiny far-flung island nations in the Pacific such as Nauru, Kiribati, and the Solomon Islands.
As of April 20, 214 countries and territories observed at least one case of the COVID-19: 166 of them reported fatal cases.
It is worth noting that five countries and territories (Anguilla, Greenland, the Caribbean islands of St. Barts and Saint Lucia, and Yemen) have managed to rid themselves of the virus after reporting cases.
As we reported earlier, according to the study that was conducted by American scientists, the new coronavirus infection is rapidly destroyed by sunlight.
However, this study has not yet been reviewed and is awaiting an external evaluation.
“Our most striking observation today is the powerful effect of sunlight on the destruction of the virus both on the surface and in the air. We observed a similar effect with both temperature and humidity, when the increase in temperature and humidity or both is usually less favorable for the virus," William Bryan, Science, and Technology Advisor to the Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security said.
