As of September 11, medics have confirmed 148,756 cases of Covid-19 in Ukraine - since the pandemic reached the country. The National Security and Defense Council reported that on Friday.
3,144 new cases were observed over 24 hours.
3,076 people deceased from coronavirus in Ukraine since the pandemic began (+53 per 24 hours). 67,005 managed to recover (+1,128 per day).
Most of the cases are observed in Kyiv (404), Ternopil region (302), and Odesa region (283).
Earlier, we reported that Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Ruslan Khomchak got infected with the coronavirus as Syohodni reported citing the Defense Ministry. The authority stated that a few days ago Khomchak had no signs of infection.
The new epidemic zoning in Ukraine will become effective on September 14. Kyiv ended up in the orange quarantine zone, said Minister of the Cabinet Oleg Nemchinov.
