“Now we are at the trauma ward of Kyiv City Medical Emergency Hospital. We talked to the doctors in the morning; they say that a real rush was there yesterday and even tonight a few people appealed to them. Totally, 50 traumatized people visited the hospital yesterday. The majority of them appealed with the traumas of hands, particularly, the fractures and traumas of wrists. Besides, people mostly come in the rush hours, when the majority comes to or from work,” the correspondent said.
According to the Healthcare Department, about 3,000 people, including 300 children traumatized by the glaze ice in Kyiv since the beginning of the winter. Moreover, 28 people suffered from hypothermia since December 1.
