About 3,000 Covid-19 cases daily are expected in Ukraine at the end of September – beginning of October, Prime Minister Denys Shmygal reports.
“Today, we have from 2,000 up to 2,500 infection cases daily. According to the calculations and predictions, at the end of September – the beginning of October this number will grow up to 3,000 infected daily. It will load the hospitals for over 80%,” Shmygal said.
Over the past 24 hours, 2,088 new cases of coronavirus infection have been observed in Ukraine. Since the beginning of the pandemic, 123,303 patients have been diagnosed with the disease: 2,605 have died (+48 per day) and 57,802 (+688 per day) have recovered.
Earlier, Chief State Sanitary Doctor of Ukraine Viktor Lyashko stated that Ukrainian laboratories are capable of conducting 130,000 coronavirus tests per week.
