26 people died in fires in Ukraine over last week from April 22 to April 28. The State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported this on its website.  

So, since the beginning of the week, the members of the State Emergency Service registered 3,148 emergency cases, on which the firefighters arrived at the spot. 41 people were rescued as a result of the undertaken measures.

“2,728 fire cases were eliminated, 33 people were rescued and 830 buildings and 61 units of technology were saved from fires as well. The fires killed 26 people, and the estimated caused damage is $175, 000, according to the operational data," the report said.

It should be noted that the pyrotechnics had 201 departures to the spots, where they found, seized and destroyed 2,531 explosive objects from the past wars.

 As it was reported earlier, the spire and the roof of the Notre Dame cathedral fell in a fire. 

The firefighters managed to rescue the main structure of Notre-Dame. One firefighter got injured.
