Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksiy Danilov said that 257 passengers arriving from China were put on medical records due to the outbreak of coronavirus. Danilov said this on the air of the program "Freedom of Speech of Savik Shuster" on the TV channel Ukraine.

"I can inform you that today we had a plane with the PRC Sanya-Kyiv flight arriving at 10:59. 257 people were on board. We are all registered, we understand all the coordinates of every person who comes from the risk zone. They are all are under our control," Danilov said.

According to him, of the passengers who arrived from China, 249 were citizens of Ukraine, 6 - Belarus, one - Singapore, and the remaining man was a citizen of the Russian Federation.

As we reported before, Prime Minister of Ukraine Oleksiy Honcharuk instructed the Foreign Ministry, State Emergency Service, Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Infrastructure to quickly develop a plan and organize the evacuation of Ukrainians from China due to the spread of coronavirus.

As the Prime Minister noted, on Monday morning he should have a clear plan of measures from the Ministry of Health on preventing the virus from spreading on the territory of Ukraine.
