During the past 24 hours, 255 new Covid-19 cases were observed in Kyiv, as Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko reported on Telegram.

31 patients died. Totally, Covid-19 took the lives of 4,818 Kyiv citizens since the pandemic began.

The number of newly infected includes 142 women (22-85 years old), 100 men (23-84), 4 girls (1-15), and 9 boys (1-15).

Some 33 patients were hospitalized. Some 636 people recovered over the past day. In total 128,111 residents of Kyiv overcame Covid-19.

As we reported earlier, over the last 24 hours, Ukrainian doctors confirmed 5,372 new cases of Covid-19, including 244 children and 57 healthcare workers.

2,599 people have been taken to hospitals during this period; 193 patients deceased, and 9,181 recovered. 46,516 tests have been taken.

Most of the confirmed cases have been observed in Dnipropetrovsk (798), Donetsk (401), Kharkiv (361), Odesa (342) and Lviv (329) regions.

Since the beginning of the pandemic in Ukraine, 2,119,510 people have contracted the disease, 1,759,751 have overcome it, 46,393 - have succumbed to it.
