24,058 new cases of coronavirus were confirmed in Ukraine during the past 24 hours. Particularly, 1,616 children and 468 medics got infected as the Health Ministry of Ukraine reported.

Thus, since the beginning of the pandemic, 3,179,577 cases of Covid-19 were registered in Ukraine. 2,594,679 (+21,941 in 24 hours) people recovered and were discharged; while 76,607 (+750) patients died from the complications caused by the infection. Besides, 4,318 people were hospitalized.

During the past 24 hours, the majority of the cases were registered in Kyiv (1,802), Dnipropetrovsk (1,867), Odesa (1,816), Donetsk (1,348), and Poltava (1,257) regions.

Earlier, Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmygal stated that almost 52,000 beds are currently occupied out of over 76,000 beds allocated for Covid patients in Ukraine.

Besides, 17 regions are in the “red” zone, two regions are in the “yellow” zone in Ukraine as of November 9.
