As of early June 1, Ukrainian medics observed 24,012 cases of coronavirus disease in the country. The National Security and Defense Council reported this on Monday.

340 new cases were observed on May 31. 

718 people deceased due to the disease since the beginning of the pandemic in Ukraine (+10 over the last 24 hours). 9,690 have recovered so far (+152).

The National Security and Defense Council also claims that 13,694 people continue to be treated.

On May 29, 1,560 ELISA tests for Covid-19 were carried out in Ukraine. 
“Over the past 24 hours, we did 1560 ELISA tests, this is according to the data from the regions. In ELISA tests there is a difference from PCR testing. Firstly, ELISA testing laboratories are present in many of our hospitals, including in regional and district hospitals," Minister of Healthcare Maksym Stepanov noted.

He added that Ukraine has a more extensive network of laboratories for ELISA testing, so they are more accessible for conducting relevant tests.
