The National Police officers in Pripyat and militarized security of Chornobyl special plant detained a 24-year-old man from Donetsk Oblast, who broke into the exclusion zone illegally for thrilling tourism, according to the National Police in Kyiv region Facebook page.

“An administrative protocol was filed against the man, under the Article 46-1 “Infringement of requirements of a mode of radiating safety in districts which have tested radioactive pollution,” they wrote.

As it was reported earlier, two Latvian citizrns were detained in Pripyat earlier this week.
