In Kyiv, the number of people with confirmed coronavirus disease increased by 24 people during the past 24 hours. One case is lethal as 112 Ukraine TV channel reported citing Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko.
“The number of Kyiv citizens, who have laboratory-confirmed coronavirus during the past 24 hours, increased by 24 people. One case, unfortunately, is lethal. As for today, there are 1,535 confirmed cases of Covid-19 in Kyiv. 27 people died,” Klitschko said.
Thus, in 24 hours, 15 women at the age of 27 up to 81 and eight men at the age of 19 up to 74 were diagnosed with the virus. A 17-year-old teenager is also infected with Covid-19. 10 patients were hospitalized, while others stay in self-isolation under control of the doctors.
“I will note, the number of people diagnosed with coronavirus has slightly reduced. However, the number of infected people who need hospitalization increases. Today, 215 patients, including four children, stay at the city hospitals with coronavirus. 68 people are suspected to be ill. 413 patients diagnosed with pneumonia,” Klitschko reported.
As of the morning of Monday, May 4, the number of patients infected with Covid-19 in Ukraine makes 12,331. 418 new cases were observed on May 3. There are 303 lethal cases, and 1,619 patients recovered.
