Over the last 24 hours, Covid-19 was detected in 219 people in Kyiv. Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko reported that at a briefing.

The number includes 108 women and 94 men, eleven girls (4-17) and six boys (5-14 years old). Ten medics got sick, too.

33 people were hospitalized. The others are on self-isolation, under surveillance of doctors.

Most of the cases were observed in Darnytsky (37), Dniprovsky (35) and Desnyansky (29) districts.

Earlier, we reported that Ukrainian doctors confirmed the total of 208,959 cases of Covid-19. Over the last 24 hours, 4,027 new cases were detected. National Security and Defense Council reported that on September 30.

The total nummber of patients that succumed to the disease since the epidemic reached Ukraine made 4,129 (+64 per 24 hours); 92,360 patients recovered (+2,110).

Most of the cases are observed in Kharkiv, Donetsk and Dnipropetrovsk regions - 549, 345 and 271, respectively. In Kyiv, the number made 219 people over 24 hours.

Earlier, we reported that ex-President Petro Poroshenko got sick with Covid-19. He now stays on self-isolation, being forced to suspend his political force's electoral campaign.
