2,053 new cases of Covid-19 in Kyiv over 24hrs

During the past 24 hours, 2,053 new Covid-19 cases were observed in Kyiv, as Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko reported on Telegram.

50 patients died. Totally, Covid-19 took the lives of 3,545 Kyiv citizens since the pandemic began.

The number of newly infected includes 1,069 women (18-99 years old), 841 men (18-88), 75 girls (1-17), and 68 boys (1-17).

Some 49 patients were hospitalized. Some 696 people recovered over the past day. In total 107,484 residents of Kyiv overcame Covid-19.

Most cases of the disease were registered in Darnytsky (812), Desniansky (384) and Holosiivsky (195).

Over the last 24 hours, Ukrainian doctors confirmed 20,341 new cases of Covid-19, including 809 children and 473 healthcare workers. 

5,186 people have been taken to hospitals during this period; 396 patients deceased, and 9,166 recovered. 128,492 tests have been taken.

Most of the confirmed cases have been observed in Kyiv city (2,053), Lviv (1,538), Odesa (1,521), Kharkiv (1,470) and Dnipropetrovsk (1,433) regions.

Since the beginning of the pandemic in Ukraine, 1,731,971 people have contracted the disease, 1,342,536 have overcome it, 34,075 - have succumbed to it.
