20,386 people received the first dose of the vaccine against coronavirus in Ukraine on May 12, as Health Minister Maksym Stepanov reported on Facebook.

Since the beginning of the vaccination campaign, 901,107 patients received the first dose. Meanwhile, 3,828 people finished the immunization (received two doses).

Kyiv – 1,610; Vinnytsia region – 715; Volyn region – 515; Dnipropetrovsk region – 1,550; Donetsk region – 996; Zhytomyr region – 1,052; Zakarpattia region – 681; Zaporizhia region – 1, 351; Ivano-Frankivsk region – 906; Kyiv region – 869; Kyrovohrad region – 527; Luhansk region – 448; Lviv region – 1,221; Mykolaiv region – 738; Odesa region – 1,199; Poltava region – 522; Rivne region – 676; Sumy region – 400; Ternopil region – 893; Kharkiv region – 899; Kherson region – 75; Khmelnytsk region – 965; Cherkasy region – 549; Chernivtsi region – 477; Chernihiv region – 552.

The vaccination is held by 268 mobile brigades and 829 vaccination points. As of May 12, 2021, 543,099 people entered the waiting list for vaccination against Covid-19.

As we reported, it is planned to vaccinate 70% of the population in Ukraine until 2022. Until the end of 2021, it is planned to vaccinate the majority of the adults in Ukraine.
