20,386 people in Kyiv have been registered as sick with flu and ARVI last week. According to the press office of Kyiv city state administration, that's 29.1 percent more cases than the week before the last one.

"The level of incidence is currently 13.8 percent below the epidemic threshold. Currently, the level of incidence makes 688.2 [cases per 100,000 of population]", reads the message.  

In general, the growth of incidence rate takes place at the cost of both adults and minors. 8,193 children and 12,193 adults got sick over the last week (+9.9 and +46.2 percent-growth, respectively). 

2,021 people were taken to hospitals over the last week. 224 children were among them.

52,790 children were diagnosed with coronavirus in Ukraine since the pandemic reached the country. Press office of Ukraine's Healthcare Ministry reported that on October 25. 

42 individuals aged under 18 deceased due to the complications caused by the illness.

"Currently, more than 29,000 children are being treated from Covid-19. 760 individuals sick with coronavirus disease are staying in hospitals for stationary treatment. The bed occupancy rate for the minors with Covid-19 makes 22 percent", reads the message.
