In 24 hours, 52 people diseased with coronavirus

The number of Kyiv citizens confirmed with coronavirus infection increased by 52 persons in 24 hours. Six medics are among them as Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko stated.

He specified that two persons died from the Covid-19 during the past 24 hours and 42 lethal cases were spotted during the pandemic.

Thus, 31 women at the age from 18 up to 81 and 15 men at the age from 23 up to 80 are infected. Besides, six children diseased: four girls from two up to 16 years old and two boys of 12 and 16 years old.

Six patients were hospitalized, while others are treated at the self-isolation under the observation of doctors.

Totally, there are 2,012 Covid-19 cases in Kyiv. 20 people recovered in 24 hours, while 189 persons recovered in general.

As of the morning of May 14, there are 16,847 laboratory-confirmed cases of coronavirus in Ukraine. Over the past 24 hours, 17 people have died and 427 have recovered. The Minister noted that it was the first time when the number of people who had fallen ill was less than the number of people who had recovered.
