Employees of the Centre for Public Health of Ukraine's Healthcare Ministry brought some 200,000 masks and 20,000 sanitizers for the Jewish worshippers who are going to come to Uman town in central Ukraine next week; as is known, they are to celebrate Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year there. This is mentioned in the message shared by press office of the Centre for Public Health.
Most of these medical supplies will be available at the Red Cross tents all over the town. Besides, the Centre for Public Health set the hotline for consultations for the worshippers; the operators will speak in both English and Hebrew.
The mentioned masks and sanitizers were bought at the cost of the U.S. Centre for Disease Control.
Earlier, 600 police employees and 200 servicemen of the National Guard of Ukraine arrived in Uman to maintain public order in the town during the celebration period.
Some 50,000 worshippers will arrive in the central Ukrainian town to celebrate Rosh Hashanah this year.
