As at September 25, 205 settlements in seven regions were left without electricity due to the bad weather in Ukraine as the press service of Ukraine’s Emergency Service reported.
“On the night of September 25, in the result of the complication of the weather conditions (rain, wind gusts), due to the activation of the protection system of the transmission lines, the de-energizing of 205 settlements in seven regions took place, particularly, Zhytomyr region – 91 settlements, Kyiv region – 54 settlements, Volyn region – 23 settlements, Rivne region – 21 settlements, Odesa region – 12 settlements, Sumy region – 2 settlements and Kyrovohrad region - 2 settlements,” the message said.
The crews of the regional energy production companies involved in the restoration of the electricity.
Earlier as a result of the bad weather in Donetsk region, three settlements are left without power, water supply stopped in Avdiivka.
Also, a heavy rain, thunderstorm, and hail occurred in Kyiv in July. Some of the streets turned into ‘rivers’ and caused traffic jams downtown. Users of social networks were sharing their impressions on happenings. The drivers are recommended to not travel by own cars.
