At least 20 Ukrainians are aboard the Diamond Princess cruise ship, which was quarantined off the coast of Japan due to the coronavirus outbreak. It was reported by Radio Svoboda with reference to the person who is currently on board.
As it was reported by interlocutor, the ship will be under quarantine for 14 days. According to the Marine Traffic Portal, the liner is now standing in the sea. People with chronic illnesses can request the medication they need.
No fewer than 10 cases of infection were recorded. The infected were transported to the hospital.
As we reported earlier, coronavirus outbreak was detected among ten passengers of Japanese cruise ship Diamond Princess; all are aged from 50 to 80. The vessel is currently under quarantine because an infected 80-year-old man from Hong Kong was on board, The Japan Times informed.
There were about 3,700 passengers onboard. 273 passengers and crew members contacted the sick man; medics had them tested for coronavirus. Ten sample probes tested positive; however, none of the ten showed any serious symptoms.
